Steve Ryder is back with three tips for today's action.

This looks to be between penalised duo C’Mon Kenny and Bollin Margaret (best priced at 6/5) with preference going to the latter who is 2lbs “well in” at the weights. The Tim Easterby trained six-year-old has won seven times during her career including off a mark of 78 in September 2021 before getting back to winning ways last time at Thirsk off a mark of 61.
Bollin Margaret won easily by six lengths that day under David Allen and the handicapper has raised her up to a mark of 71. She instead runs here under a 5lb penalty meaning that she is 2lbs “well in” at the weights as well as having the 3lb claimer Brandon Wilkie on board.

Although Time In Motion is respected on her handicap debut for George Boughey, she is running from 7lbs out of the handicap and preference instead goes to Rebecca West (best priced at 3/1). The John & Thady Gosden trained three-year-old disappointed on her first two starts over 7f before showing improved form over a mile last time when 3rd at Brighton under Benoit De La Sayette.
Rebecca West makes her handicap debut off a lowly mark of 55 and connections will be hoping that she proves a lot better than that mark. This step up in trip to 1m2f should suit and I expect her to prove hard to beat.

The Ed Dunlop trained Chorus Line (best priced at 9/4) won on her handicap debut last time and should hold strong claims off only a 3lb higher mark. The three-year-old had form figures of 658 in maiden/novice races but put in a much improved performance on her handicap/seasonal debut following 223 days off the track.
Chorus Line stayed on well late on over the 7f trip to win by a neck off a mark of 68 and this step up in trip to a mile for the first time will definitely suit her. A 3lb rise from the handicapper is fair and I expect her to prove hard to beat with William Buick retaining the ride.
