I’m expecting C&D winner ROSSCARBERY to take a lot of beating here. She is a mare that goes particularly well fresh and she won five of her first six starts last season taking the scalps of some very good horses most notably Emily Dickinson in the Stanerra Stakes at Leopardstown. She was last seen running creditably behind Emily Upjohn in the Fillies and Mares on Champions Day and looks set for another profitable campaign.
Final Gesture won a Listed race eased down at Gowran last month and could be the danger if improving again. Azazat also impressed winning readily at Leopardstown last time and again she has a fair bit to find but is clearly going the right way so I’m not entirely ruling her out either. The rest look to be up against it.

Given a lot to do last time MAN OF EDEN did some good late work and just couldn’t reach the leaders in time. He races off the same mark here and I think he is well handicapped if everything drops right. He is largely unexposed so with more to come should be able to get himself back in the winners enclosure now. Rawyaan hasn’t been beaten far the last twice and if building on those efforts could emerge as the main danger.
Cancan In The Rain could only finish fourth at Yarmouth last time but shaped like he’d appreciate stepping up to a mile so also has a chance. Monty Bay got off the mark at Chepstow and now handicapping you couldn’t rule out further progress so he must also enter calculations in a race that should throw up plenty of future winners.
