Able to compete off the same rating now, he can break through. Kimnkate took a step in the right direction at Chelmsford, while Chalk Mountain tries a mile for the first time and can be keen.

It may be that he is happiest on an artificial surface and he gets the nod at the chief expense of Icy Dip, who should also relish the return to the all-weather after struggling at Newmarket. There is more to come from Protest Rally, while Aljari and Shades Of Summer are a couple more of interest.
