Despite suffering quite a heavy defeat at Pontefract last time SKI JUMP is probably one of those still with the most potential in this field. His second over a mile and a half at this track prior to that run was a big step in the right direction and I think dropping back down in trip here is a good move. The handicapper has also dropped him 2lb and I’ll be very surprised if he can’t win off a mark of 53 so as long as things pan out favourably in the race he should go close. Future Times was also below par beaten 10 lengths at Leicester but his second to Arkenstaar at Hamilton before that was eye-catching so if bouncing back looks the biggest danger. Of the rest Stelios never really recovered after getting bumped at the start behind the selection last time but would have a squeak of hitting the frame in this granted a smoother passage.
