A competitive fillies handicap but I’ve had my eye on ADELA OF CHAMPAGNE for a while now and that second to Clipsham Gold over a mile here on handicap debut last month was a very good run. She cuts back to 7f here which should suit her aggressive style and racing off the same mark with further improvement expected she must go close under Kieran Shoemark. She is by Kingman so obviously bred to be better than her current mark of just 62 and I’ll be surprised if she can’t go one better. Intricate Pillar was in desperate need of the experience sent off a big price on debut but quickly improved to open her account over C&D on just her second start. She is clearly quite promising but lacks a run and that might prove telling in such a deep race. Vinaka also has a shout but has a wide draw to deal with.
