Sea The Moon filly MISS CYNTHIA is going to relish stepping up to a mile and three-quarters for the first time here. She still looked to be learning her craft when fourth at Leicester last month and with that under her belt and added fitness on side I’ll be surprised if she isn’t better than a mark of just 71. The yard are still going great guns and this smaller field should suit too. Lordship was impressive enough at Chepstow and back in a handicap would still have to be a danger with the promise of more to come. Fair Dinkum had excuses at Sandown last time but was progressing nicely before that and might turn out to be the biggest danger to the selection if bouncing back. Peaceful Night is bred to stay well but needs to improve to get involved.

There was good word about for BALANCE PLAY at Epsom and while he didn’t win that run may well turn out to be a very good effort in defeat. I rate the winner Torito highly who looked unlucky next time out at Royal Ascot last week. The runner-up Silver Sword won impressively at Pontefract on Sunday and looks a lovely prospect going forward so the form certainly stacks up. He has only had the 4 starts so with further improvement a near certainty he looks the way to go in this. Frankel colt Tajawal made all in good style at Ayr beating Lil’ Frank and if building on that on handicap debut he could be the danger. Theme Park seems to be improving with experience and is another one to note along with Razoni who doesn’t know how to run a bad race.
