GYTO Sunday Notebook Double

A lot of potential lining up for this so I expect it to work out well going forward but I was quite taken with UNQUESTIONABLE over C&D last time and if he improves again as expected he should have too much for these rivals. He relished stepping up to this trip for the first time and took a big step forward. Ryan Moore has chosen him over His Majesty who actually beat him on debut so I think that is a tip in itself as he has clearly come into his own now. He is the fresher horse with the latter having had a hard race at Royal Ascot last week. He was an eye-catcher in the Norfolk but this is coming soon enough. Mythology was beaten less than a length on debut over C&D and that form is working out well so he might be worth a saver at a double-figure price.

Dubawi filly REMINDER left her debut run behind to open her account over C&D last month. She relished that stiff finish and showed a good attitude to fend them off towards the line. The form hasn’t worked out great since but she is clearly open to significant improvement and even conceding weight all round seems to have found the right race to go and follow up. Cloud Cover was an eye-catcher on debut but ran a shocker at Thirsk last time and is going to need to bounce back in a big way to win this. Of the rest Shoolaa is obviously well bred but she didn’t show a great deal at Newmarket and given time since if she can improve she might run well but likely needs more time and experience and has enough to find with the favourite as the betting suggests.
