The betting is suggesting this is fiercely competitive but I’d have it between the two last time out winners in the field and preference goes to CANCAN IN THE RAIN for Charlie Johnston. This Muhaarar colt looked outpaced returning over 7f at Yarmouth at the start of last month but has improved with each run since. He was beaten less than a length at Goodwood which looks a strong piece of form and then he improved again to win readily at Newmarket last time. He is only 2lb higher and while this is tougher I can see him stepping forward again so he looks decent value in the betting. Ottoman Prince has won 2 from 3 to date and should appreciate the step up in trip. He is definitely a horse I have on my radar moving forward so I expect him to give the selection most to think about now sent handicapping.
