Long Call is respected under a 4lb penalty but preference goes to SUN FESTIVAL (best priced at 5/2) who has been running consistently well this season. The Joe Parr trained five-year-old has form figures of 42213 in recent starts including a victory over this course and distance on his penultimate start. He justified short priced favouritism that day to win by two lengths before finishing only 1 ½ lengths behind the winner when 3rd at Newcastle last time off a mark of 51.

Sun Festival races here off the same mark of 51 and he should prove hard to beat with Neil Callan back on board and back over this course and distance.

The Robert Tyner trained SEARCH FOR A MYTH (best priced at 7/4) got off the mark last time at Wexford over hurdles and she should hold strong claims off only a 2lb higher mark over fences. The six-year-old mare has been running well on her recent starts with form figures of 52231 and she was a comfortable 2 ½ lengths winner on her reappearance last time off a mark of 92.

The handicapper has raised Search For A Myth 9lbs for that victory up to a mark of 101 over hurdles so connections instead now switch her back to chasing (finished 3rd on her only previous chase start) off a mark of 94 meaning that she is only 2lbs higher in this race. Phillip Enright is once again on board and she should prove hard to beat.

RED ALLURE (best priced at 5/1) is becoming well handicapped and should be able to capitalise off a mark of 51 on her stable debut for Adrian Nicholls. The eight-year-old won three times last year when trained by Rebecca Menzies off marks of 44, 51 and 55 and she has now dropped down to a mark of 51 following five below par efforts in a short stint with Lisa Williamson.

Red Allure was only beaten ¾ length last time when 4th over this course and distance and she is expected to win on her stable debut for Adrian Nicholls who does well with horses from other yards.
