Nathaniel colt INSANITY was a big eye-catcher denied just a neck on debut at Windsor. He was short of room when trying to pick up and despite that ran on strongly only to be denied narrowly at the finish. The front three came nicely clear from the rest so I think the form could work out in time. He will be a lot sharper this time around and switched to the AW should improve enough to go one better now.

Buick looks a good jockey booking and it will be no surprise to see this horse well backed. Intinso was subject to strong support before making a winning debut at Newcastle as a two-year-old and then pulled too hard on reappearance when down the field in the Feilden Stakes at Newmarket back in April. He is better than that and up in trip looks the obvious danger.

No Nay Never colt SENNOCKIAN hasn’t done a lot wrong in three starts to date and if he progresses again as expected he should open his account here. He has plenty of speed and Fanning is great off the front so I expect him to bounce out and try and dictate here as his experience could end up counting for plenty. Master Franca needed the run when fourth on debut at York but likely improved in defeat when third at Chester.

That form isn’t bad at all so he will be the danger if stepping forward once more. Vantheman looked a little one paced on debut but might shape better here with that under his belt. Appellant is the only debutant in the field and while he is bred to be pretty useful he should do better for the outing unless the market speaks otherwise.
