The hugely progressive ROBERT JOHNSON may well still be ahead of the handicapper despite having won four of his last five now. He enjoyed stepping back up to two miles to win at Musselburgh last time and the filly he beat into second that day Baez has won impressively since by over four lengths to frank the form. He is up another 3lb so is off a career-high mark now but I think connections have placed him superbly and this is definitely another winnable race to extend the winning sequence.
He remains fairly lightly raced on the Flat and especially over the trip so I think he is still worth keeping on side. Malakahna hasn’t done much wrong the last twice and could threaten if running to that sort of level again. Kalamity Kitty is expected to strip fitter from that Kempton comeback and is another one that needs to be considered.
