Harry Angel colt IKHTIARY was a big eye-catcher on debut. He was slowly into stride which is understandable given it was his first start on a racecourse and then he had to come wide to make headway. He ran on well once the penny dropped late and was never nearer. He will know a lot more this time around and it wouldn’t surprise me to see him as a steamer in the betting. Crocus Time shaped well on debut and then improved to go down just a couple of lengths at Newmarket. She sets the standard on that so looks the obvious danger. Kodiac Thriller catches the eye on breeding and he could run well first time out but I think those who have had a run have shown enough to have the edge this time. Piz Nair is another one that can improve and get competitive.
