Obee Jo showed a good attitude to get on top over C&D last time but this might be a bit tougher under a penalty and he is short enough in the betting. DIAMOND VEGA catches the eye for Ralph Beckett. I remember her doing plenty wrong as a 2yo but ultimately winning readily at Haydock. She hasn’t really gone on from that but she has only had two starts and has been fairly highly tried on both of them. That was a good race she made her reappearance in at Newmarket last month and she will find this much easier. The step up to 7f is a big plus given how she shaped the last day and she is much less exposed than this field. Sparkle In His Eye knocked on the door when runner-up at Musselburgh last month and is another to consider.

This should be between the top pair in the betting and ready preference is for MEA DOMINA to come out on top. This Pivotal filly won twice in France before joining this yard. She was thrown into the deep end in some regard when third behind Buckaroo and Homeless Songs in a Listed race at Leopardstown on reappearance but that was still a big run in defeat. She then bumped into another nice filly in Goldana back down to 7f at the Curragh and could be ready to strike back up to a mile now. She is the obvious pace in the race so should go forward and it might take a good one to peg her back this time. War Front filly Eternal Silence impressed making the breakthrough at Naas last month but that was in a maiden and these are much deeper waters.
