Quite a few of these in with a shout but MUCKY MULCONRY must top the shortlist given his recent form. This son of Profitable had been hinting his turn was near before making the breakthrough at Wolverhampton and has run two big races in defeat since. He missed just a head stepping back up to 6f at this track last month and then back down to the minimum was keeping on well at Windsor last time. He races off the same mark and surely still has handicap scope in a Class 6 like this.

He has good pace drawn outside him so that should help him to get a good toe into it and I think he will take a bit of beating. Selina’s Star ran a pleasing race on reappearance to finish second over C&D a couple of weeks ago. If she builds on that off an unchanged mark she looks the obvious danger.
