This might not take a great deal of winning so QUEENSLAND BOY might be the way to go. This son of Australia took a big step forward on handicap debut to go down less than a length at Leicester last month and with more to come off the same mark will likely be popular here. He was held up and just got going too late closing all the way to the line. He is still learning his trade on what is just his fifth start and only second in a handicap and this looks a good opportunity. Purnika also shaped well on her handicap debut when fourth at Wetherby last month and if progressing could be the danger but she might not be the most straightforward. Jimmy Mark has experience on side but looked quite tired crossing the line at Bath latest.

That was a big run from H KEY LAILS at Brighton last time and with the form nicely franked with the fifth Starproof winning impressively since he can get back to winning ways here. I think he just bumped into one in the shape of Tobetso last time and the pair picked up all the way to the line. His win at Wolverhampton prior to that was authoritative and a return to more positive tactics may well pay dividends here. Inverinate did well to come between rivals at Lingfield last time but found Amathus too strong and wasn’t closing anymore as the line loomed but that was still a good effort so he is the danger. Fayasel was beaten just half a length at Chelmsford last time and if in that form again is another one that should get competitive.
