Three horses coming into this with winning form and they look the ones to focus on. BELTANE first caught my eye winning so well at Musselburgh on final start for Keith Dalgleish. He shaped well in defeat on stable debut for Mick Appleby at Beverley and then missed just a short head at Wetherby. He deserved to win back at Beverley last time always doing enough in the closing stages and up just 2lb from that it is hard to see how he doesn’t go close again. I know Kentucky Bluegrass is chasing a hat-trick but I’m surprised there is as much as there is between them in the betting. The latter improved again to win at Lingfield last time but now handicapping I do think he’ll find this tougher. Hartswood ended a losing run last time and up just 4lb should remain competitive as well.
