EMILY IN PARIS has filled the runner-up spot on her latest three starts and can gain a deserved winning turn. The daughter of Champs Elysees has shown stamina is her strong suit and was again putting in her best work at the finish last time when beating all bar Walk In Time over three miles at Tipperary. Bumper winner Brianna Lily was no match for the long odds-on The Big Doyen at Tipperary earlier this month but she won't face anything of that calibre here, while Jumping Susie showed promise last year and shaped well after a lengthy break when runner-up to Miss Fourie over 2m4f at Bellewstown. Artemis Angel and What An Ocean are others to consider.

There should be plenty of pace on here with a number of confirmed front-runners and perhaps the race will set up well for PRINCE ZALTAR who has progressed well this year. He won a 26-runner 2m4f handicap at Navan and was again successful over that trip here in May. The tongue strap fitted on that occasion is reapplied. Dartan has appreciated a change of tactics to score at the Curragh on Derby weekend and again set the pace in a three-mile handicap hurdle at Bellewstown. Miss Tempo also likes to dictate and is on a hat-trick following wins at Naas and when upped in trip at Tipperary, although a cumulative rise of 19lb will make life more difficult.

John Ryan is well represented with three runners and THE DARA MAN may repeat his win of 12 months ago. The Stowaway gelding needs to bounce back after a disappointing display at Tipperary but was previously in good form when going close twice last month at Punchestown and Kilbeggan. The Dasher Conway won twice over hurdles and made most of the running when scoring in fine style on his first completed start in a handicap chase at Tramore last month. Sole Pretender uncharacteristically refused to race last time but has been a good money spinner for connections both over hurdles and fences, while Pats Choice was a fortunate winner at Wexford last month.

HERCULE DU SEUIL was a useful novice over hurdles winning three times last season including a Grade 2 at Fairyhouse. The Willie Mullins-trained gelding is a keen running sort and opened his account over fences at Ballinrobe when taking command in the straight to beat Ballyadam. The latter's trainer is now represented by Watch House Cross, who has won his latest two starts over fences both at Wexford and readily accounted for Saldier over 2m4f last time. Solness has taken really well to fences, although he did jump a shade right when again making all at Tipperary last time.

SHANTOU SISU won over fences at Downpatrick last summer and finished strongly when placed over staying trips on his latest two starts including when narrowly denied by the progressive King Ferdinand at Tipperary earlier this month. Gondor filled the runner-up spot three times over hurdles last year including over 2m6f at Navan and, following a six-month break, made a bright return over fences when third to Glen Ava over this trip at Limerick. Agirlcalledchloe and Chainofconsequence filled the places behind Search For A Myth at Tipperary, while Kingston Kid and Early Arrival are others to consider.

ABI'S CHAMP filled the runner-up spot on debut at Punchestown on New Year's Eve and made no mistake when readily landing the odds at Downpatrick last month. That probably wasn't the strongest of races but the Willie Mullins-trained mare could not have won any easier. Roedara justified favouritism on debut at Down Royal last month but it's hard to gauge the merit of that performance as the first seven home were all newcomers who haven't raced since. Dark Image also won on debut at Limerick last summer but hasn't added to that success in four outings since, while Derek O'Connor is an interesting booking on the well-bred Feron Lake.
