Barrolo is obviously in good form having won twice and then gone down less than a length last time but I do think there might be value in opposing. CUBAN ROCK catches the eye after finally getting his head back in front over a mile at this track last time. He made all that day and ran on strongly at the finish. The form has been well advertised since with the runner-up Star Start finishing second on his next two starts. He is only up 4lb and all looks in place for another big run.

Barrolo is probably the danger going up in trip but Indication Rocket is also respected especially if they let him go forward and get the lead. Ubettabequick wasn’t disgraced at Doncaster but will need to pull out more to spring a surprise in this.

This looks a good opportunity for MACANUDO to get off the mark. This Invincible Spirit colt has shaped with promise on all 3 starts to date and has been well backed the last twice. He was only beaten a length at Chester last time and was only headed in the closing stages having been ridden aggressively. This looks easier and if he gets a soft lead he might not come back to them this time. Dark Angel colt Parker’s Piece improved to go down a length at Kempton last month and with further improvement looks the biggest danger. Of the rest Commander Of Life has a similar profile as well having improved to chase home El Bodon at Lingfield and must also enter calculations if building on that run.
