The way NIGHT EAGLE came swinging there on the bridle at Epsom last week was impressive and turned out quickly under a penalty I think he is a good bet to follow up. The handicapper dropped him 2lb from that Lingfield run so he remains a well handicapped horse seeing as he was winning off 66 only last season. He is back in trip back down to a mile and a quarter but that won’t bother him given he has a high cruising speed and I think he is the most likely winner of this.

Nonsuch Lad could be a danger but he’ll need them to go a good gallop throughout which isn’t a certainty. Beautiful Crown hasn’t run badly the last twice but he is on a lengthy losing run which is enough to put me off. Sarkha is another one to consider if the cheekpieces do the trick.
