The Gordon Elliott-trained filly ran well enough on two previous runs over flights to suggest a race of this nature is within her capabilities. The full sister to a blacktype horse appears to have been found a nice opportunity to shed her maiden tag. Art Of Silence, who won his bumper at this track last year, has shaped well in a couple of hurdle races of late. The Ger Keane-trained five-year-old stayed on nicely when fourth at Downpatrick recently. Jacks Fancy has finished mid division on both starts to date but is another that should be capable of making her presence felt in a race where only a handful look to have genuine prospects of winning.

SIMPLETWISTOFFAITH can strike on just his second start for trainer Patrick Hassett. The six-year-old had shown promise on a couple of occasions for his former connections but took a significant step forward when runner-up at Kilbeggan last time. A reproduction of that effort would be good enough to go one place better in this contest. Scott Lang is a decent handicapper on the level who has shown ability on both runs over flights to date. The Paul Flynn-trained gelding tends to race prominently, a running style that will suit around a tight track such as here. Extrapolation looked very smart when winning his bumper at Downpatrick in May but has yet to reach those heights over hurdles. The six-year-old has time on his side so shouldn't be discounted just yet.

ONLY ONE PLAN had been running consistently in similar races prior to getting off the mark at Roscommon on his penultimate start. The Retirement Plan gelding failed to back that effort up back at that same track last time but connections dispensed with the cheekpieces he had worn in his previous four outings. With that particular aid back on here, the Philip Rothwell-trained gelding should give a good account. Eighty Eight, a fair handicapper on the flat for Johnny Murtagh last year, looks nicely treated off a rating of 104 on his first start outside of maiden company. Dual flat winner Rushford also looks one that should have more to offer now that he goes handicapping off a relatively low mark.

THUNDER received a very astute ride from Danny Mullins when making all at Tramore last time but the John Ryan-trained gelding could be capable of better still. The five-year-old had his race in safekeeping from a long way out so dropping back down in trip may not be such an inconvenience. The winning jockey switches to Katou on this occasion and the Willie Mullins-trained mare has to be respected. Although disappointing on her most recent run at Roscommon, the daughter of Shantou emerged victorious at Tramore on her penultimate start. Killeemore Lad is chasing a hat-trick following wins at Hexham and Kilbeggan respectively. Andrew Slattery's five-year-old has to carry a penalty but is partnered by a decent young conditional.

CAN'T STOP SMILING can win her third successive race at this venue. The Aidan Howard-trained mare, who won twice here in May, now returns in search of the hat-trick after a short break. Although both recent victories came on good ground, the daughter of Walk In The Park shaped well on an easier surface in her maiden hurdle at Naas. As Tears Go By is also chasing a three-timer, having won at Clonmel and Wexford in recent times. The lightly raced gelding also won at Sligo last year, so this tight track should hold no fears. In From The Cold is relatively well treated over hurdles compared to his flat rating, so the Gordon Elliott-trained six-year-old has to be respected. The Alhebayeb gelding should appreciate a strongly run race at this trip.

JESINA could be ready to strike on her third start for trainer Eoin McCarthy. The seven-year-old mare finished runner-up in a bumper at Galway for Jessica Harrington last September but failed to trouble the judge on six subsequent outings. On her first run for new connections, the daughter of Milan shaped encouragingly when fifth in a handicap at this track. Having backed up that promising effort with a fourth placed finish at Sligo last month, the mare shouldn't be far away. Course and distance winner Paidi's Passion hadn't shown a great deal for some time prior to finishing second at Roscommon earlier this month. The David Christie-trained mare looks well handicapped if she can back that up. Rathnaleen Zoey, a second runner for Eoin McCarthy, also holds strong claims after a good third at Kilbeggan last week.

GLENDARS MAHLER looks to hold strong claims on a track that should suit her prominent racing style. The James Andrew Fahey-trained seven-year-old has shown her best form making the running or sitting just off the pace on tight right-handed tracks. Having weakened late on over further on her last start at Wexford, dropping back to this intermediate trip looks a wise decision. Movie King won over hurdles at Down Royal last month prior to running well in a handicap chase at Tipperary recently. The Tony Martin-trained gelding remains open to improvement having had just the nine runs over flights. Treyarnon Bay, a bumper winner for Nicky Henderson, has to be considered on her debut for Shark Hanlon. The five-year-old mare has plenty of scope for improvement having just her second handicap start.

MISTER PINK sets a strong standard on the back of his debut second at Fairyhouse in February. The front three pulled well clear of the remainder and the third horse boosted the form when winning on his next start. Willie Mullins Beat Hollow gelding didn't enjoy the clearest of passages during the race so may well have been closer with a trouble free run. The locally trained Tomas O Maille is a consistent gelding who has been placed on his last three runs. While the six-year-old needs to improve further if he is to beat the Mullins horse, it would be a surprise if he isn't one of the main threats. Derek O'Connor is a significant booking on the unraced Peter Fahey-trained gelding Soleil Couchant. Any market support for the son of Champs Elysees should be noted.
