It was a shame the Curragh was abandoned last weekend as I was looking forward to seeing CADEAU BELLE but she comes here now and could be quite an exciting filly. She stayed on strongly to make a winning debut at Gowran back in May and then followed up with a bit up her sleeve at Navan last month. She had Cigamia well held in second that day and that rival is a decent yardstick who has run well behind Zarinsk since. She is obviously open to further improvement and cut in the ground over a mile looks a perfect test right now. Random Harvest ran well when second to Prosperous Voyage and backed that up chasing home Rogue Millennium. She was poor last time but that was a big ask and she’ll find this easier at least. Ameynah is also interesting and should get competitive.

There was lots to like about the way GRAHAM bolted up over C&D last month and while he has been beaten twice since he hasn’t done much wrong. He was clear from the rest back down to a mile and a quarter when runner-up at Newbury and then bumped into another progressive horse in Golden Move at Doncaster last time again pulling clear from the rest of the field. Back at this venue and up just 3lb I’m expecting him to get back in the winners enclosure now. True Legend who his first two starts this season but then was poor behind Saint George at Doncaster and again beaten 7 lengths at Newcastle last time. First-time cheekpieces are applied and he’ll need them to do the trick to get back on track. Twoforthegutter up in trip is another one to note off a low weight.
