With 2 wins from her last 3 this daughter of Mayson DAPHNE MAY is proving a real money-spinner for connections. It’s at a lowly level but it is hard to knock her love for the game given the way she kept galloping to get on top at Epsom last time. She is 3lb higher here and given a lot of these struggle to win I’ll be surprised if she is beaten. Gary Moore continues in great form and Billy Loughnane is serious value for his 3lb claim. Paradise Row is a filly I expect to do better at some point and she might be the danger if bouncing back. She was poor on handicap debut at Leicester so needs to forget about that run to feature but I do still have her on my radar. Of the rest Mildyjama struck on penultimate start but was a beaten fav last time and needs to bounce back.

The way SLAINTE MHATH won over C&D last month you’d think she is a cut above this level. She has surprisingly been beaten twice since but was right back to form bumping into Impressor last time and with the ground likely in her favour again she is the one to beat here racing off just 1lb higher. She appreciates racing on the pace and in this small field she should have every chance of going forward. William Dewhirst ran well to finish third at Doncaster beaten 2 lengths but that form has taken a couple of knocks since which is a bit concerning. Never Dark finished last season with a win but looked to need the outing when down the field at Musselburgh. He is down 2lb but might still need a bit more help from the assessor.
