A fair bit of potential lining up for this but I was impressed with SPANISH POET at Sandown and if he improves again he could have a great chance of making it a perfect 2-2. He kept on strongly in testing ground to win on debut and should love going up to a mile given the way he hit the line that day. Emperor’s Star was trailing back in fifth and that is worth noting as that colt was only a length and a half behind Arabic Legend on debut so on collateral form you could argue it gives the selection the edge. I do think it is between the pair and both could be nice types going forward. Arabian Crown also deserves a mention after improving to win at Sandown last time. He will have more to come and could also get competitive in a good Listed event.
