I loved the way TWO AULD PALS travelled through the race before asserting at Hamilton last time. This likeable type has now won 3 of his last 5 and looks better than ever. He is up another 4lb and is off a career-high mark now so this will inevitably be tougher but I’ve got to keep him on side at least for now in his current groove. The step up in trip could see him improve again and I’m going to chance him once more. Miss Cynthia has also caught my eye recently and that run when second to Lordship is good form. She was only beaten 2 lengths last time and is feared most. Of the rest Yorkindness won over C&D 11 days ago and looks sure to give her running again so she’ll likely not be far away either.

The hat-trick seeking SHESADABBER looks worth siding with again at Southwell on Sunday. She was heavily backed at Catterick again last time and I expect her to be all the rage for this again. She found more when called upon at the finish last time and I feel like she did it with a bit up her sleeve. She actually runs off a 2lb lower mark switched back to the AW so has plenty going for her. Mehmo was back to form finishing third at Doncaster and then stepped forward on that to win at Beverley last month. He didn’t do a lot wrong when third to Foreseeable Future last time and looks the main danger in here. Dalby Forest might be a bit of value to hit the frame at a big price back on an artificial surface.
