15:45 Sandown

This looks a competitive nursery but preference goes to Two Tribes (best priced at 6/1) who can hopefully get off the mark in this race with first time blinkers added. The Richard Spencer trained colt ran well on his first two starts on the AW at Wolverhampton and Lingfield before putting in a career best performance over this course and distance last time.

Connections fitted Two Tribes with first time cheekpieces that day on his first start over 5f and he is expected to run well with blinkers replacing them off an opening mark of 78.

Two Tribes - 0.5pts e/w @ 6/1

16:15 Sandown

The Jim Goldie trained Be Proud (best priced at 6/1) won this race two years ago off a mark of 79 and he should hold strong claims off only a 1lb higher mark. The seven-year-old arrives in much better form than last year with form figures of 4112 including two victories at Doncaster over 5½f and 6f.

Be Proud was only beaten 1½ lengths at Haydock last time off a mark of 77 and despite now going up in class and off a 3lb higher mark, he should run well with up to five places on offer.

Be Proud - 0.5pts e/w @ 6/1

17:45 Sandown

The Jamie Osbourne trained Ouzo (best priced at 7/2) finished a close 2nd to Perotto over this course and distance last time and he should hold strong claims off the same mark in this race. The seven-year-old has a good record at Sandown with form figures of 1232 in his career with his previous two runs coming in the Class 2 handicaps. He finished only 1 ¼ lengths behind Perotto in the Coral Challenge last time off this mark of 94 and the handicapper has been lenient leaving him on the same mark.

Ouzo now drops in class to a Class 3 0-95 handicap and he should prove hard to beat in this race.

Ouzo - 1pt @ 7/2
