Another winnable race and with 2 wins from his last 3 CLEARANCE could be the way to go. He loves this track and ran on strongly to win again over C&D last month. I loved the jump at the last suggesting he had a bit more to give if needed and up just 3lb can go in again under Tom Cannon. Enthused was beaten less than a length by the selection on penultimate start and then failed just a short head at Stratford last time so looks the most obvious danger. Aliomaana beat the latter but then blew out when only fifth last time so she might need to bounce back to get involved. Elham Valley pulled up at Cartmel and is another one with a bit to prove off the back of that.

I don’t think it is ever ideal for a horse to make their debut in heavy ground but BAD DESIRE showed more than enough to suggest he could take this out. He went to the front the last day and only found the 1/4 favourite Navy Seal too strong with the rest well back. He is open to plenty of improvement off the back of that and looks the one to be on. Star Hunter also shaped with plenty of encouragement when third to Deepone on debut at Leopardstown and looks the danger. Thor’s Hammer has had a couple of starts already but took a big step forward last time and is another one if improving again will likely get competitive. Dubawi colt Cambridge makes his debut so watch the market on that one.
