Isabella Bee has attracted a lot of support in the overnight market but preference instead goes to the Jimmy Frost trained CAILTLIN'S COURT (best priced at 13/2) who defied odds of 28/1 to win at this course in May and should hold strong claims off a 2lb higher mark. The six-year-old mare had previously struggled on her first four starts under rules before returning from 147 days off the track with a slightly fortuitous victory in May.

Caitlin’s Court has once again been off over three months but the handicapper hasn’t been daft and only raised her 2lbs for her 8 length success last time. She had just regained 2nd when her main rival fell at the last bringing down the third meaning she coasted home to an easy success from the favourite Phoenix Risen. That was her first run without a tongue tie and hopefully she can run well with four places on offer.

All five runners are in with a chance in this competitive 0-120 handicap chase but preference goes to BAGHEERA GINGE (best priced at 11/4) who was still in contention when falling at the second last over this course and distance in June. The Nigel Twiston-Davies trained five-year-old looked a big danger to the 2/7 favourite that day and he has since run with credit finishing 2nd at Worcester behind Courtland and 3rd at the same track a month ago.

Those two placed efforts have come off marks of 117 and Bagheera Ginge can hopefully get off the mark over fences in this race with the assistance of first time cheekpieces.

Justshortofabubble is respected following his recent Stratford success but he could struggle against ZORAN (best priced at 13/8) who was an impressive winner over this course and distance 21 days ago. The Emma Lavelle trained six-year-old has shown improved form since joining the yard from Paul Nicholls with him placing at both Newton Abbot over hurdles and at Worcester on his chasing debut on his penultimate start. He was only beaten three lengths off a mark of 87 that day but went one better over the same course and distance earlier this month when he won easily by six lengths off a mark of 89.

The handicapper has rised Zoran 8lbs up to a mark of 97 which is fair and he should prove hard to beat off top weight with Tom Bellamy once again on board.
