There seems to be a growing confidence surrounding the chance of ROWAYEH here and with Owen Burrows in terrific form right now it is easy to see why. This Dubawi filly improved to make the breakthrough at Beverley and then really impressed with how she won on handicap debut at Sandown. The runner-up Mystic Pearl has won since to frank the form and she did that with a bit in hand that day. She went up 5lb and lost little in defeat when a close third at Glorious Goodwood. The winner Choisya is a decent type and the runner-up Novus is also a good yardstick who has won since so I think that is a race that will work out in time. She is up another 3lb but should relish a mile and a quarter now and is the one to beat.

I have been waiting to see DASHING PANTHER again as he impressed springing a 33/1 surprise to score by a nose at Newbury back in May. He has been beaten twice since but the form of both those runs has worked out well so he could still be very well handicapped off a mark of just 70 here. The horse that beat him at Ascot Alhambra Palace has gone in again easily since at Sandown so the form really stacks up. He remains lightly raced and if progressing again will go close. Malabu Drive is by Frankel and while he completely blew out in France last time he looked quite promising prior to that so if bouncing back could be the danger. Ajyad took a step forward to win at Bath and Hamilton but then ran flat at Leicester so needs to leave that behind.
