We’ve put together a 104/1 double for Saturday’s sporting action, featuring an in-form Premier League goalscorer and a nicely priced Ebor Handicap outsider.
Brentford vs Crystal Palace
Bryan Mbeumo to Score Anytime
With three goals to his name, Bryan Mbeumo is an early frontrunner in the Premier League Golden Boot who features in Jimmy the Punt’s Weekly Goalscorer Treble.
Two of Mbeumo’s strikes have come from the spot meaning Brentford’s frontman has scored each of his last five penalties, not a bad asset to have for a side that are without their usual penalty taker for half of the season.
Even with an early glut of goals, Mbeumo could have had more. He has racked up an xG of 3.30 and missed a big chance against Tottenham.
15.35 York – Sky Bet Ebor Handicap
Sunchart to Win
This year’s renewal of the Sky Bet Ebor Handicap is once again set to be a high-class and hugely informative contest, writes Architect Tips.
At a double-figure price, I really like the angle of Irish raider Sunchart, who can be backed at 33/1 at the time of writing.
Despite only having one win to his name, he has placed on multiple occasions at pattern-class level, most notably when an unlucky short-head second to the 110 Duke De Sessa back in November. The six-year-old handles all ground and was given a prep-race at Naas when last seen.
He would have needed that after the break and this will be his first start in a handicap for a while. The expected bit of rain will certainly increase his chances and his natural class and solid form-lines make him of serious interest. In fact, some of his form is the best amongst this field.
