I know things didn’t go to plan for MR SATURDAY at the Curragh last time but his first two starts were really promising and if you put a line through that he is very much the one to beat here. He chased home Devious on debut and then bumped into Unquestionable next time so has already reached a very useful level of form.
He could never get involved behind Cherry Blossom last time but is a lot better than that and this track should suit him better. An opening mark of 86 looks fair and connections have booked a handy 7lb claimer too. Cable Bay filly Veracidad has run well in a couple of handicaps so far and if improving will be the danger. Sanshiro ran a bit flat last time but his run before that was promising enough.

There was lots to like about the way BETWEEN THE COVERS hit the line to make the breakthrough at Yarmouth last time. He was firmly in control at the finish and now handicapping off a mark of just 69 should be good enough to follow up. The third Sindri ran well enough to finish runner-up to a promising horse at Ripon earlier in the week so the form has substance.
D Day Arvalenreeva has experience on side and again ran well when second at Newmarket last time so should get competitive. Gold As Glass is unexposed after just four starts and ran well last time so looks the biggest danger if improving again. Golden Horn filly Showy can do better but might need a bit more time and experience to come good.
