With Two Auld Pals now out this looks a great chance for stablemate BAEZ to bring up the hat-trick. This Sixties Icon filly has really come into her own since upped to two miles and despite only winning a neck at York she was always doing enough to hold off a useful horse in Golden Shot with the pair nicely clear. She is up another 6lb but looks ahead of the handicapper for now and can win again.

Yorkindness is by Nathaniel so is bred to keep improving with age and she looks to be doing just that winning again at Pontefract last time. That is solid form beating Miss Cynthia so I expect her to put up the most resistance. She was behind the selection at York though so has ground to make up. Glasses Up is also no back number having won at Ayr and then bumped into the thriving Tafsir here last time.

There was lots to like about the way COMPLIANT won at this track back in February. She has been beaten three times since but has been pitched into some pretty good races and has held her form well. Freshened up again she stayed on nicely for second behind Auld Toon Loon at Chester and that is decent form. Running off the same mark here and stepping up to a mile and a half for the first time I think we will see her back in the winners enclosure.

She remains unexposed and back at this track I’m keen to keep her on side. Mildyjama is progressing nicely too having won two of her last three and up another 4lb will likely emerge as the danger. Silver Nightfall is quite a likeable filly and she has only been beaten narrowly the last twice so no surprise if she gets fairly competitive as well.
