13:35 Chester

The Richard Spencer trained REVICH (best priced at 11/1) has a good record at Chester and he should be able to bounce back from a below par effort at Goodwood last time. The seven-year-old has form figures of 15311423731 at the track in his career including a victory over this course and distance in May off a mark of 92. The gelding won easily by three lengths that day which earnt him a 6lb rise from the handicapper up to a mark of 98.

Revich was only beaten 2 ½ lengths in 4th in the Coral Challenge at Sandown on his penultimate start off a mark of 97 and he now runs in this race off a mark of 95. This return to Chester will suit and he should run well with four places on offer.

Revich - 0.5pts e/w

This looks a competitive 0-85 handicap but preference goes to SAFARI DREAM (best priced at 6/1) who is 2/2 over this course and distance in handicaps. The Rod Millman trained three-year-old won two nursery handicaps last season off marks of 74 and 82 before following up at Windsor off a mark of 82 later that year.

Safari Dream ran well to finish 3rd on his first two starts this season at Goodwood and Leicester off a mark of 84 before disappointing at York last time when fitted with first time cheekpieces off a mark of 85. He has been dropped 1lb back down to a mark of 84 and he should run well with up to five places on offer.

The John Wainwright trained DANDY'S ANGEL (best priced at 9/2) is the only course and distance winner in the field and she can hopefully be rewarded for his consistent form this season. The six-year-old has recent form figures of 13211413 including three course and distance victories off marks of 51, 54 and 57.

Dandy’s Angel ran well to finish 3rd beaten only 2 ½ lengths at Hamilton last time off a mark of 62 and she should run well once again off a 1lb lower mark.
