HAPPY TEARS has displayed promise in each of her four starts to date and was a close-up third at Chelmsford when last spotted. This is an easier race on the face of it and William Buick retains the ride. She is fancied to potentially bring an end to winning run of Another Gift who is in search of the hat-trick.

HURRICANE POWER has progressed with each start and was touched off by only a short-head when second over course-and-distance nine days ago. That is the strongest form in the field and he is open to further improvement, so he should prove capable of winning a race like this with more to come.

Leg 3 Selections: Havanagreattime

HAVANAGREATTIME dead-heated for second at Lingfield last time and had run well in his two previous efforts as well, including when third over track and trip on debut. He has more experience than all of his rivals, so he is taken to put his knowledge to good use and land the money under William Buick.

Leg 4 Selections: Activated 

ACTIVATED made an eye-catching impression when fourth over course-and-distance on debut three weeks ago. He was slow into stride and was briefly outpaced before staying on strongly in the closing stages to be nearest the finish. He is surely going to step up on that effort here with the experience under his belt.

Leg 5 Selections: Five Towns 

FIVE TOWNS should have too much natural class for rival Purple Love and Co. She beat an 85-rated sort at Kempton and following a decent fifth at York, she finished second at Haydock. The winner has subsequently placed twice in listed company, so the form is solid, and she is the one to beat.

Leg 6 Selections: Deep Spirit, Rhubarb 

DEEP SPIRIT did plenty wrong last time at Yarmouth but still got the job done and could follow up if she is able to build on that. I will also include RHUBARB, who is five pounds lower than when last successful and will be hard to beat if he can repeat his latest third. Tom Marquand is notable jockey booking, too.
