Frankel colt BLUE ANTARES really impressed winning over C&D on penultimate start. He travelled supremely well into the race and put it to bed like a well handicapped horse. He was beaten two lengths at Musselburgh last time but didn't look completely at home on the track and did run on quite well in the closing stages. Back at this venue I think he is a danger to all and I'm happy to keep him on side for now.

Edwina Sheeran will be a danger as she beat the selection here back in July and while she hasn't won since she has run well enough in defeat to think she will run well again here. Lincoln Rockstar was second to the selection on penultimate start so deserves respect too but she was poor last time so has a little to prove.

15:20 Goodwood

The progressive NOVEL LEGEND is hard to get away from here. He made a winning return at Kempton back in March before following up at Newbury in April. He has been beaten three times since but done little wrong in defeat bumping into Zinc White at Chester and then only going down four lengths behind Ahorsewithnoname at Royal Ascot. That second to Sweet William at Newbury was a huge run and a repeat of that would likely make him very hard to beat in this.

Temporize impressed with how he kept finding to beat Robert Johnson at Goodwood. That rival has disappointed since but I still think he could be the danger if repeating that here. Of the rest Aggagio goes particularly well here and is noted along with Grand Providence who has been running well.
