WELL PLANTED struck the woodwork in a warm class 2 event over C&D last month and Mike Smith's charge is fancied to go one better, despite a subsequent 3lb hike in the ratings. He's 6lb lower than for his last hurdles success and could prove to be the main danger, although the consistent Lisa Harrison pair Malangen and Dalileo are also worth noting.

Wasdell Dundalk and Saint Arvans are at contrasting ends of the handicap, but both are more than capable of making their presence felt. Petrastar and Stylish Moment arrive with a bit to prove.
