With 2 wins from his last 3 UNCLE DICK should be hard to beat. He briefly hit a bit of a flat spot before staying on strongly to win over C&D last week and off the same mark with a good bit of pace on again he should be able to pick these up. Local Bay is the only other horse arriving here in winning form so looks the logical danger.

He caught the eye when third to Optiva Star so that was a good effort last time to win over track and trip. He is 3lb higher but looks the one most likely to put up some resistance. Of the rest at a bigger price it wouldn't surprise me if Darvel managed to sneak a place. He needs to bounce back but won over C&D back in July.

Alexi Boy will be popular given he won impressively at Lingfield last month but he goes up a furlong and has to concede 5lb and upwards which won't be easy. I prefer SILVRETTA who left her debut run miles behind to go close at Newmarket.

She was keen that day but came with a strong run to hit the front before being edged out in the closing stages. The winner Sumo Sam has progressed into a really nice filly this year and has been successful at Group 2 level the last twice relishing going up in trip. We haven't seen this daughter of Invincible Spirit since October last year but if ready to roll on return could take a lot of beating.
