First-time cheekpieces could see the unexposed CROW'S NEST get back on the upgrade. He looked progressive winning 2 of his first 3 starts before running creditably in defeat when third at Newmarket and then blowing out completely at Brighton last time. He was slowly away and held up in rear and just never landed a blow. Given that Newmarket form has worked out well a mark of 82 should be within reach and he is worth chancing to bounce back. The ground is riding fast but there is rain due so conditions could be ideal. I think he'll be ridden fairly prominently under Billy Loughnane and he should be in the box seat to pounce. Quite a few dangers in a race like this but likely headed by Secret Guest who certainly wasn't disgraced at Carlisle and should run well.
