After just a handful of starts we haven’t seen the best of KNIGHT yet and if he improves again he should be hard to beat here. He went down just half a length in the Celebration Mile at Goodwood last month and that was a big run given he gave away ground at the start. The winner Angel Bleu is a smart horse on his best form and they pulled over a length clear from the rest with the field well strung out in behind.
Cheekpieces go on now and this test looks ideal with a stiff finish if he gets a good pace to aim at. Chindit kept finding to get his head back in front at Haydock last time and has to be respected despite carrying a 5lb penalty as he does look the class act in the field. Eydon has only run 4 times so could be capable of better but we haven’t seen him since April last year so the betting will be revealing.

Nathaniel filly TAMILLA has been dropping back down the handicap and showed up much better when fourth at Bath last time. She was only beaten a length and a half at the line and I think that can be marked up as she was given a lot to do and was denied a run when staying on strongly at the finish. If they go a good clip and she is ridden a little closer I can see her picking them up here off the same mark granted she gets the gaps this time.
Typical Woman impressed winning at Haydock back in July but has been beaten twice since. I thought she’d go closer last time but was well held in the end beaten over 2 lengths. She is off the same mark and should show up well again but might just be vulnerable in the closing stages. Wynter Wildes is also feared if she manages to bounce back.
