Salvuccio wasn't disgraced when runner-up at Bath last time out and completes the shortlist.

The unexposed Mereside Diva is an obvious threat following her success at Nottingham in May, while Impeller edges out Crow's Nest and Dream Deal to be the pick of the remainder.

Although respected for a race of this nature, Greenwich and Fletcher's Flight have hardly set the world alight and appear more likely to have an impact when they qualify for handicaps based on what they have shown so far. With that in mind, this could be another good bit of placement by William Haggas, who introduces PLINK at a very realistic level. The selection is a half-brother to 1m all-weather winner Pop Favourite and offers strong appeal on paper.

The form MERRIJIG's latest neck second at Carlisle was emphatically boosted by the winner going in again at Musselburgh on Saturday and this low-mileage five-year-old appears the most solid option in a weak-looking finale. Lincoln Rockstar and Assembled are others with reasonable chances at this level, although Carlisle fifth Bamboo Bay is slightly better off at the weights with the selection and can feasibly get closer this time.
