A tough handicap but plenty of these come here with a point to prove so it might represent quite a decent opportunity for NUMIDIA to finally get back in the winners enclosure. Some of his best runs have come at this track including his sole career win over a mile here back in February. He is a 1lb below that winning mark and shaped much better when third at Punchestown last time. If he can build on that returned to this venue then he must have a major shout.

He was only beaten a length over a mile here back in July off a 3lb higher mark so if things pan out favourably he definitely has strong claims. Romann has also only won once and that came at this track so I think he is the danger. He has run well the last twice and should be bang there but no juice in his price. Mads Black Eights is down in grade and is also respected.
