This looks a competitive Class 2 handicap but preference goes to the in-form and consistent WARREN HILL (best priced at 4/1). The Roger Varian trained three-year-old has shown improved form this season in handicaps since a wind operation with form figures of 33213. She finished 2nd by a head over this course and distance in July before getting off the mark over the same course and distance off a mark of 70 on her penultimate start.

The handicapper raised Warren Hill 5lbs for that 2 ¾ length success and she finished 3rd by ¾ length off that mark of 75 last time at Bath. This return to Nottingham should suit and she should run well with David Egan taking over on board.

The Karl Burke trained ERANTHIS (best priced at 2/1) made an encouraging start at Haydock and should prove hard to beat in this race. The daughter of Saxon Warrior travelled best of all in that mile contest before running green under pressure and fading into a 1 length 3rd at the finish.

This drop in trip to 7f should suit Eranthis based on her run last time and she should prove hard to beat if repeating her debut effort switched to the AW.

The Joe Parr stable are currently in good form operating at a 33% strike rate and I am hoping that the consistent REVOLUCION (best priced at 5/1) can get off the mark at the thirteenth attempt. The three-year-old has consistent form in handicaps on the AW with form figures of 5224233 including placed efforts off marks of 60, 60, 64 and 62.

Revolucion runs in this race off a mark of 61 so he is competitively handicapped and look sure to be involved with up to five places available.
