15:05 Goodwood

This looks a competitive 0-80 handicap but preference goes to Harb (best priced at 4/1) who runs from 3lbs “well in” at the weights under a 5lb penalty. The Peter Crate trained four-year-old ran well to finish 2nd at Epsom over 7f in July off a mark of 69 before winning in good style by 2¾ lengths at Sandown a week ago under Tom Queally.

The handicapper has raised Harb 8lbs for that victory but he instead runs here under a 5lb penalty meaning that he is 3lbs “well in” at the weights and he should prove hard to beat as a result.

Harb - 1pt @ 4/1

16:40 Perth

This looks to be between recent winners Wasdell Dundalk and Born Famous (best priced at 7/4) with preference going to the latter who bids to win her seventh race in a row. The six-year-old has been bought back by Claire O’Connell following six wins for Iain Jardine including a remarkable victory under Harry Cobden in the Summer Plate at Market Rasen.

Born Famous is unbeaten in her four runs at Perth and she should hold strong claims back over fences in this race with Harry Cobden on board once again.

Born Famous - 1pt @ 7/4

19:30 Kempton

This looks an open 0-82 handicap but the consistent King Cabo (best priced at 3/1) could get a much deserved victory from 2lbs “well in” at the weights. The Luke Dace trained four-year-old has been running consistently well this year with form figures of 21362422 including two good runs at this track.

King Cabo was only beaten ¾ length in August over a mile here off a mark of 76 before finishing 2nd by 1¼ length over a mile here earlier this month off the same mark. The gelding looked sure to win 1f out but got caught late on that day shaping like this drop to 7f should suit. The handicapper has raised him 2lbs up to a mark of 78 so he runs here 2lbs “well in” at the weights and he should prove hard to beat with Marco Ghiani (who has form figures of 5122 on him) back on board.

King Cabo - 1pt @ 3/1
