He is only 3lb higher and the form of that last win has been franked already with the third Bringbackmemories winning at Hamilton next time out. Bug Boy swept home from off the pace to win at Brighton when last seen and also has winning form over C&D so looks the biggest danger. Glenister has form figures of 111212 and back down to a mile and a half is another one I expect to get competitive but he might be high enough in the handicap for now.

Night Of Thunder colt SHEROOD is the most unexposed of these and if he improves on what is just his second start in a handicap he could prove tough to beat under Saffie Osborne. He was well backed on handicap debut at Newmarket and certainly wasn’t disgraced finishing third. The form could have worked out better but I’ll be surprised if a mark of just 70 doesn’t underestimate him.

That was just his first start over a mile too so good reason to expect better. The danger could be Leitrim Rock who has only had a handful of starts himself and while he needs to improve his better days are definitely ahead. Khangai possibly best of the rest.
