After just 3 starts in handicaps there should be more to come from GOODEVENINGMRBOND and he looks to have found a good opportunity to get back on track here. He was well backed at Haydock last time but he was just too keen that day and by the time he got going again in the closing stages the leaders had flown. That form has already been well advertised with the runner-up Be Here Now running a big race at Redcar next time out. He is back down 1lb and is only 5lb above his last winning mark where he impressed at Chepstow so I expect him to get seriously competitive. Whoop Whoop is also lightly raced and she showed up better when second at Ffos Las. If she can build on that she could be the biggest danger.

The progressive CONCORDE stayed on strongly to regain the winning groove at Newbury on return last month. He shaped on that occasion like he would have more to come as his stamina is drawn out so no surprise to see connections step him up to a mile and a half now. He is 5lb higher but could easily progress again and I think he is worth keeping on side as he has won 4 of his last 6 now. Vaguely Royal is well bred and looks the obvious danger. He acquitted himself well in defeat in a red-hot Melrose behind Middle Earth and then was given a bit too much to do at Doncaster last month. He likely has more to come and should make a race of it with the selection as he is probably well handicapped off a mark of 86 as well. Savvy Knight is another one to note.
