The John Flint trained six-year-old is a three-time course and distance winner off marks of 50, 47 and 52 and she is deserving of a 6lb rise for her latest four length victory.
Joe Leavy has ridden Lilandra well on her previous two starts so him taking 7lbs off once again is a positive and she should run well with up to five places on offer.
16:32 Bath
The Robyn Brisland trained DELAGATE THIS LORD (best priced at 11/2) is an eight time course winner at Bath and he should hold strong claims here once again. The nine-year-old had started to struggle for Simon Hodgson but has bounced back to form for his new trainer this year with form figures of 1161 this season. Those three victories have all come over this course and distance off marks of 58, 62 and 67 and he is deserving of his 5lb rise for his latest success.
Cieran Fallon, who rode him to victory on his first two starts this season, is back on board and he should run well with up to five places available.
17:30 Newcastle
The Tristan Davidson trained SPIRIT OF ASH (best priced at 11/2) has developed a frustrating tendency to start slowly in her races but that hasn’t stopped her from showing her best form at this track. The four-year-old has form figures of 112 over this course and distance in her career with two victories earlier this year off marks of 46 and 48.
Spirit Of Ash was only beaten 2 ½ lengths when 2nd over this course and distance last time off a mark of 51 and she gets to run in this race off the same mark. Jason Hart, who is 1/1 on her, takes back over on board and she should run well with four places widely available.
