The step up to 2 miles looks a good move for CLUB MANAGER and he should be able to get back to winning ways off this mark. He stepped forward from his handicap debut at Leicester to miss just a short head over C&D back in August and then improved to win going away over the same track and trip last time. A 7lb rise looks full warranted and with more to come looks capable of following up under James Doyle again. His chance will be enhanced the harder they go early so hopefully it doesn’t turn too tactical. With 14 heading to post I think they should go and end to end gallop. The biggest danger is probably Saturnalia who won on penultimate start and then only missed a short head last time.
