Obviously a fair bit of potential lining up for this with 3 last time out winners in the field. One of those is the promising PALMER BAY and I think this Exceed and Excel colt could be the one to side with today and going forward. He looked to need the experience when runner-up on debut at Windsor but improved to beat a good horse in Jasour over 5f at this track when last seen and given time is likely to have improved plenty since. The way he hit the line last time suggests this extra furlong will be right up his street and he is the most likely winner for me. Maximum Impact has experience on side but was down the field at Newmarket and has a bit to prove. Solar Aclaim impressed on debut and could be a bigger danger.
 

17:15 Lingfield

Despite being slowly into stride JIMMY MARK ran on strongly to get up at Bath last month and that was really quite a taking performance for this grade. He has gone up 3lb but is clearly still well handicapped off a mark of just 49. That form has been boosted since too with the third Caraway running well to go down just a nose at Wolverhampton next time and even the horse that finished last (and sent off fav) Galactic Glow has finished second at Bath since. If he gets away on terms I expect him to have these covered. Someone’s Wish improved to make a winning handicap debut at Wolverhampton and will be the danger if improving again. Bbob Alula and The Game Is Up are also noted but both have something to prove.
