The way ASTA LA PASTA won in a bumper at Market Rasen when last seen was impressive and if taking to hurdles at the first time of asking could take a bit of beating here. The yard seem to have made a fast start too which would be a big plus. This doesn’t look too competitive so it should be a good opportunity. King William Rufus also lacks experience but did run well in bumpers with form figures of 232 and he looks the most likely danger in a weak maiden hurdle. Borodale finished behind the selection on debut and then could only finish fourth when well backed at Huntingdon. He will probably need more time but is also noted given connections.

I think it might be worth siding with BOIS GUILLBERT here. He looked promising winning his first two starts over hurdles and then was far from disgraced when a close third at Hexham when last seen. He remains open to improvement and this looks a good opportunity for him to get back on track. He should get a good pace to aim at and looks capable of better yet. Autumn Return was in winning form when last seen at Perth and can go well fresh so looks the danger. She is more exposed though and didn’t run too well at this track on penultimate start which is slightly concerning. Of the rest Hidalgo De L’isle also deserves a mention as that form at Bangor last time has been boosted by the winner since.
