The hat-trick seeking HEARTRATE should be hard to beat here despite a 6lb rise in the weights. He looked to relish the step back up to 6f at Ffos Las last month and if in the same form should be the most likely winner of this. Billy Loughnane has been booked for the ride which is a notable positive given he rode a treble at Wolverhampton at the weekend and this 3yo makes more appeal than most.
Sir Maxi likes this track so shouldn’t be underestimated despite being well held off this mark at Ayr last time. The Dunkirk Lads is a horse I have on my radar too but he just isn’t showing enough right now to be of serious interest in this.

C&D winner BERNIE THE BEAR has barely put a hoof wrong this season with form figures of 2234212 and that win which came over track and trip on penultimate start looks a solid piece of form. He was beaten less than 2 lengths off this mark at Newcastle last time but I think this track suits better.
This is a very winnable race and with more to come he can get back to winning ways here under Cam Hardie. Time Test colt Another Dimension is yet to win a race but was only beaten 4 lengths here last month and dropped another 2lb could emerge as the biggest danger. Fayasel has won over C&D and was only beaten 2 lengths last time so with cheekpieces back on is also considered.
