This is a tricky handicap hurdle to close out at Uttoxeter on Sunday but it might be worth chancing COLONEL LESLEY to bounce back on debut for his new yard. Down the weights he finally got his head back in front winning by a neck at Stratford and then followed up off a 4lb higher mark at Newton Abbot next time out. He was denied the hat-trick back from an absence when only fourth over C&D but racing off the same mark could get back on the up now.

He is around 8/1 in the betting and that looks too big to me given he has more upside than most in here. Mistertommyshelby was beaten 28 lengths when fourth here last time but the drop back in trip and Sean Bowen getting the leg up could see him more competitive and he is the likely danger.
